Adorned with thick embroidered details and bible/book icons (representing the secretary). The inside tag reads “Chaplain”. The long hanging built in sash panels are attached at the shoulders. It is fully lined in black satin fabric. The collar is adorned with silver buillion thread (French Wire) fringe. “Wire Bullions are made up of a very fine wire thread that is wound into a soft flexible hollow tube with a smooth and dull surface. The wire of the thread is copper based with a gold or silver plating and will tarnish over time.” IMPORTANT: This is a used piece. Three of the velvet covered buttons are missing. The top button has been replaced with a non-velvet one. Some of the bullion fringe is missing in various spots. There are three areas where there are red stains on the left side sash (right side in the photos). (See photos for details) Approx.
