Description: This is an interesting vintage truck. The body is a Marx U.S. Mail Truck, V-172, which normally would come with a mail trailer. This one doesn't have one, as you can probably see. It's also a little unique because at some point a past owner replaced the original Marx wheels with Wyandotte wheels. They're marked as such on the outside. All 6 appear to be Wyandotte. They're not original, but they seem to be good fits. They still roll well and appear to be on tightly. The truck cab measures about 11 inches long and about 6 inches tall from the bottom of the tires to the top of the cab. The wheels have some general wear to them. There's a little rust and wear to the metal hubcaps along with some set-in dirt and dust on the tires. The axles have a little oxidation and wear to them. The truck cab has some wear to it too. There are a lot of little visible scratches along with a few small spots of rust and general wear. There's a particularly noticeable worn spots with some chipping and rust on the underside. The pictures should give you a good idea of the truck's condition. What you see is what you'll get. It has a few issues, but it should still make for a really neat rarer piece and I'd love to send it along to a new home.
