Description: Up for auction is a Vintage Ludwig Super Sensitive Snare system with a 6-ply shell fitted with re-rings. Snare has the 70's Super Sensitive Strainer System in very nice over all condition with new Ludwig wire snare guards and all parts work free of any damage. Snare wires are new straight out of the box Stagg/ snappy snares 20 strand-14" and all parts free of any damage and work smooth to the touch. Minor adjusting may be required depending on users discretion and players preference . Snare also fitted with 10 brass top of the line tube lugs and brass mounting hardware, 2 brass plated vintage 14" engraved triple flanged hoops with after market brass grommet and badge. Both heads are new straight out of the box and fit with ease and room to spare. Shell is a 5" X 14" 6 - ply made up of mahogany/ poplar/ mahogany and fitted with original vintage Ludwig solid maple steam bent re-rings. Mahogany outer - wrap has several coats of a premium lacquer semi gloss low luster finish. This snare is the last one of 2 being offered and shell was born dated on 7/8/2011. Please note this snare is being sold as is in used condition fitted with vintage parts and does show signs of minor rust, dings, scratches and other blemishes so please look at all pictures carefully prior to bidding. Because of the described used condition this auction is a no return . All pictures were taken outside with out a flash to show true over-all condition of this snare.
