But, if there are flaws, they blend into the decorations. I have seen no cracks, crazing, chips, etc. The stand is in good vintage condition, too. This piece has been in my family collection for about 80 years. Description: The pieces are hand painted. There are raised areas to create a textured effect. There is a gold halo, likely to be 22Kt gold, over the woman's head. May be Moriage, Japanese art. ~ Cup: Height= 1 1/2" Diameter of top or from rim to rim = 2" ~ Saucer: Diameter= 3 3/4" ~ Stand= gold color twisted metal with curved, artistic style. The stand may or may not have come with this cup and saucer.
