Description: Vintage lot 2 Russian lacquer small boxes Palekh and Kholui The smaller box is 1 ¾” square and 1 1/8” high depicting troika ride and signed “Palekh Troika B.T”. The larger box is 2 ¾” wide, 1 5/8” high depicting the scene from fairy tale. The signature is made under the black lacquer, rising, can be seen if look under the angle “p. Kholui E.C”.
