Description: The following auction is for a vintage letter dated 1937. It is used. It is a bit stained and has some age marks to it. It is folded up in a 3 fold position. It seems to be inquiring about the enlistment of Thomas Arnet of Anna Illinois. He passed away in Chatanooga in 1863. There is also a letter written in pen stapled to it. I think this was the original letter sent to the State of Illinois Military and Naval Dept. It is a neat piece of history. Poor fellow, died a year into his enlistment. You get the exact pictured.
