Description: I purchased this good looking backpack in 1991 at Simple Pleasures here in Raleigh. I used it 2-3x max for car, day trips. Never any food stuffs . Inside is clean. Some small spots and a larger stain near top opening. Leather appears to me to be maybe goat or pigskin because of the grain. Straps are attractively lined with pinked wool, which shows virtually no wear. It has been kept on a shelf in a conditioned, non smoking environment since I’ve owned it. By my rough measurements, it will hold @ 41 liters. The leather waist belt is a nice addition too. Please carefully review all photos as they are part of its description.
