Description: This listing is for a Vintage Large Square Apothacary Desplay Storage Jar with Ground Glass Lid. The Jar is 4 3/4” square with 7 1/2” straight sides and a 1 3/4” neck with a flat flange 4 1/2” OD top . The Jar it self is excellent except a small chip on the out side edge of the top. (see attached pics). The lid is another story, it has had a rougher life. The lid is very heavy glass and has a crack in it and a serious chip on the tapered ground insert part. It still seals good and is sound and from one side it looks perfect. There are some bubbles in the glass and the jar has 2 distinct mold marks. This jar does not have a flat spot on one side for attaching a label. Please see attached pictures for details. Thanks for looking.(M2-99)
