Description: Vintage Party Dress, 1950s Lace Dress with Exaggerated Satin Bow This is a beautiful vintage party dress! Fitted, boat neck, V at the back waist, and full circle skirt of lace. This dress has some signs of age, but they are all charming! The lace is not brilliant white, and has some mild yellowing overall. The fabric underneath is lavender, and shows as a little more blue or a little more pink in different areas. The satin bow at the waist looks as though it was faded by exposure to sunlight for a long period of time- or maybe just lost some color over the course of years. The skirt was hemmed several years ago (I do not recall why - it was damaged somehow, and I had it professionally repaired) but it seems uneven to me and you may want to have it hemmed to be even. This has no tags in it at all. Back metal zipper, and there is a layer of ruffled net beneath the lace for some volume. The underskirts are NOT full circle - just the lace. This measures like a modern size small, and is shown on a size small model. For best fit, please compare the measurements below to your own, or to the size chart of a brand that fits you well.
