Description: This is a vintage green wool open jacket (no buttons) in approximate women's size small. A souvenir of Mexico. The tag at the neck reads 'La Mexicana Fabrica de Ropa.' It features hand embroidery, blanket-stitching with red & white yarn on the garment edges and applique work. There is an enormous applique of dancers on the back. It is in need of some skilled TLC. The moth holes cannot be fixed, but other sewing issues could be fixed. Pit to pit measurement is 19 1/2" with a length of 28". It has strong padded-style shoulders evoking a late 1940's style (like the Andrews Sisters might wear).Pre-owned. Moth holes are present. The stitching is fragile and has come loose in places. The blanket stitching on the edges of the garment is broken and missing and in need of repair.
