Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE... Found in an estate liquidation on Madeira Island Portugal, that of a world traveler. Vintage large bar top ashtray advertising Kent cigarettes. A weighty colorful bold graphic transfer ashtray that is seen less often than others. Made in Chatham New Jersey by Contemporary Ceramics for the P. Lorillard Co. Measures 6 7/8ths inches in diameter standing 2 1/4 inches tall. I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size. Two flaws to describe, one from use and one a factory glitch. I have illustrated a base rim chip that measures 1 inch, mostly concealed on the underside. Additionally, a factory kiln issue, one panel has numerous pepper dots in the glaze. No use abrasions or discolorations in the body. MUCH OBLIGED
