Description: Josette Boland was an illustrator of children's books, often the books were written by her sister Suzanne Boland and many other French children's books authors during the 1950 -1960's. She illustrated Alice Et Alain Au Pays D'Aladin by Marcelle Verite (Paris) 1952. This print was made in Holland, I am not sure if it is a reproduction or an original, it is not signed and in excellent condition, in its original 10 3/4" x 8 3/4" frame which has two minor chips on edge and some wear on bottom left corner. It looks like someone tried to lift the bottom left corner of the backing which is lose. I have another two prints by this artist both smaller in matching 8" x 6" frames. I will be listing all three and will combine shipping if interested.
