Vintage Johnny Carson's Men's 2 Piece 38R 32 x 30 Pants Suit

Description: Please note before purchase, that I do not allow returns, so be sure this is what you want. With the exception of the tiny defect mentioned above, the suit is like it was never worn. Suit is olive/gray and not flimsy at all. Johnny Carson 2 piece, unlined pants and lined jacket suit. These were men's most popular suits in the 70's. There are no fabric nor size label on the jacket. Most of his suits were a wool blend or a Dacron poly (this does not feel like a limp 70's poly leisure suit). Not sure which but a very nice feel. Size: I'm saying the suit jacket is a 38R: But go by measurements: measurements across the chest armpit to armpit is 20" (suit sizing charts say jacket size is usually 6" more than the waist size (which is 32"). From the middle of the back neck to the cuff is 34" (chart says 32" - 34" for sleeve length). The sleeve inseam pit to cuff is 17". Across the back, shoulder/arm seam to shoulder/arm seam is 18.5. Length from base of the collar at back middle neck to the bottom is 30". Look at the detail inside. Lining is finished off with thin gold silky fabric. Two inside pockets and single vented in back (see pics). Left chest open and two lower flap/close pockets. Four button's at cuffs. The pants aren't labeled but measure 16" across the waist lying flat and the inseam is just a hair more than 29.5" with the rise 11.5", so 32 x 29.75". Inside waistband nicely finished off for comfort. Button/heavy hook/eye/zip front closure. Go by measurements to be sure of a great fit and make note of the one defect under the description.
