Description: This is a beautiful set of brass and red & black enamel bookends featuring zodiac symbols relating to the 12 Tribes of Israel…. 12 tribes (clans) of Israel derived from 12 sons of Jacob. These bookends are in great condition with only some light wear on bottom bases. The brass is shiny and colors vibrant. Please look over photos! I believe these to be from the mid century (possibly 1960s or 1970s). There is not any manufacturer information but I believe these were made in Israel. The face of bookends measure 5 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide. The base is 3.5 inches long and 3.25 inches wide. They are a perfect addition to library or any shelf in office or home.
