Reel is clean, no major blemishes and works well. A little polish and it would look nice in a collection. This model of J A Coxe reels features nickel silver and bakelite construction, double handles with dark yellow grasps, free spool, aluminum spool flanges, corkwood spool arbor, level winding action, and back plate mounted clicker. This is a nice clean reel that came from the estate of Gary Kaplan, past President of the Golden Gate angling and Casting Club and well known fly fisherman, fly tyer and guide.
