Description: A Vintage J & G Meakin Set of Dinner Plates. Each measures about 10" in diameter. CONDITION: In nice shape. One plate has two chips on the outer edge. Another plate has a flake on the outer edge. Another plate has a chip on the outer edge. The last plate has a chip and four flakes on the outer edge. Some surface scratches, crazing, browning in the crazing cracks, flaking and wear to the reddish-brown rims and designs, speckling and wear to the glaze on the outer edges, and some scuffing and discoloration on the bottom rims from display. I purchase all of my items at auctions, estate sales and flea markets so cannot be sure of their history or whether they've come from smoke-free or pet-free homes.
