Description: A Vintage J & G Meakin Set of Tea Cups & Saucers. Each saucer measures about 5 5/8" in diameter; each cup measures about 3" in diameter and 2 1/4" in height. CONDITION: In nice shape. One cup has two flakes on the top rim. Another cup has a chip on the bottom rim. Some surface scratches, crazing, browning in the crazing cracks, flaking and wear to the reddish-brown rims and designs, speckling and wear to the glaze on the outer edges, and some scuffing and discoloration on the bottom rims from display. I purchase all of my items at auctions, estate sales and flea markets so cannot be sure of their history or whether they've come from smoke-free or pet-free homes.
