Description: Vintage Hi-Carbon Steel Paring Knife, With Wood Handle 3.25". Blade is 3.25", Overall length is 7 1/8". Blade is razor sharp. Blade is a bit worn, from years of use. Blade has scratches, and stains, from normal use. Blde also showssigns of pitting, probably from moisture, or just plain old age. Wood handle has scratches, and some marks, from normal use. Handle has no chips, or cracks. Knife is one pin, hidden tang, wood handle. Knife was originally painted black, through the years a lot has worn off. It would be a wonderful piece restored. You just don't run into knives like this everyday. I can not see a makers mark, anywhere. Knife is in good used condition. I would place this style knife in the 20's- 50's. Good Luck, Neat Old Piece.
