This superb set of 8 miniature-sized bowls are in exceptional condition and come presented in their original box complete with the white jack, and rules card. The original box promotes the game as "The exciting sport that can be enjoyed by the whole family together. All you need is smooth carpet!". Produced by the Australian company that gained a reputation for making quality full-sized lawn bowls, this set is claimed to be "The full sized game in miniature". The rules card goes on to claim these bowls are "Precision made like the World Famous Henselite Lawn Bowls. The Truest Bowls Made". SIZE: Each bowl measures approx 60mms or 2.5 inches in diameter, the smallest set available, making them perfect for tight indoor areas. CONDITION: These bowls are presented in exceptional vintage condition and appear to have had very little, if any use. The bakelite remains rich and lustrous with no chips, cracks or repairs. These bowls are presented in their original box the lid of which has been taped together and has overall surface scuffs from storage. The previous owners names have been written to the base of the box.
