To me, this item is in excellent vintage condition, meaning gently worn and well taken care of . Light surface wear which is to be expected - wear consistent with age. I do not see any metal discoloration which is common in vintage pieces. It was clearly stored nicely. Clasp works great. I think you will be thrilled with it. I did not clean or polish this piece as many folks prefer to purchase vintage/preowned jewelry as found or with some patina. I do not want to ruin any pieces using any harsh chemicals, so I leave all cleaning & polishing up to the discretion of the buyer.
