I considered repairing it, but considering the age of the shirt I felt this was better for the final owner. There also appears to be someone's name written above the pocket, like a name tag. It blends in quite a bit and I didn't notice it until I had it under the photo lights. Shirt is very vintage, pre 1971 when care tags were required.
