This listing is for a vintage C melody saxophone mouthpiece.There are no markings on it, but the ring on the shank suggests that it might be of Conn origin. This mouthpiece most likely dates to the 1920's or 30's. The design is typical of that era. It has a very large round chamber, and deeply scooped inner side walls. It has a close tip opening, which measures in at .052". This mouthpiece is made of hard rubber, not plastic. This mouthpiece is in overall very good used condition. There are a few minor nicks, but for the most part the facing is smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. There is minimal ligature scratching/scuffing on the exterior.
