Hand-made in Italy in the traditional Florentine style, this piece features a pastoral scene on a mountainous landscape; trim is gold-tone and ivory/off-white with scallops. It is in very good condition for its age and shows age-appropriate patina and wear; please see pictures for an indication of the wear on this piece. The hinge belies its age and works beautifully so that the box closes perfectly. The piece measures approximately 4.25" square and is approximately 2.25" high. Interior is painted and clean and perfect for storing trinkets, jewelry, coins, keys - anything dear to your heart. Original label is missing - not sure but could possibly have been made by Nashco Products and imported from Italy. An excellent addition to your home decor - and perfect for presenting a unique gift!
