I'm not sure. It came from a small gift store in Denver.Six Ornaments, new in box, handcrafted out of wood in Denmark by Lis Drewsen. The Christmas Pyramid or "Carousel" originated in the Erzgebirge region of Germany, also known as the Ore Mountains. This area, famous for its wooden toy makers, continues to manufacture these prized Christmas decorations. A Christmas Pyramid is an impressive centerpiece for any Holiday gathering and a wonderful tradition to bring to your home. Both are estimated to be purchased in the 1970s. Carousel currently Selling at William Sonoma for $154. (see added picture)
