Description: Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Elephant - Chiang-Mai Siam. Delightful hand-carved vintage elephant. He has two very tiny, hand-painted eyes and the most delicate tusks. He is trunk up, which is a sign for good luck. This was purchased from an antique dealer who previously marked all pieces based on location or time period. This piece is thought to be from Chiang-Mai in Siam (now known as Thailand). Piece appears to be teak wood. The elephant is 5 inches long, 3.75 inches high and 1.25 inche wide.
