Description: Vintage Hand Blown Art Glass Amethyst MCM Perfume Bottle La Mailloche Beauport Here we have a beautiful hand made / hand blown mid-century modern perfume bottle, made by La Mailloche. La Mailloche located first in Beauport, then Place Royale in Old Quebec, recognized for having experienced glassblowers who created decorative and utilitarian objects with ancient traditional techniques. The color seems to change depending on lighting. At times it appears to be a burgundy color, others it appears amethyst. It measures about 4 1/2" H. Engraved on the bottom base "La Mailloche Beauport." So this piece was made at their Beauport location. In nice condition, the only issue noted is that the stopper has a small chip on the end of the point. It does have the faint smell of the previous owners perfume inside the bottle.
