Description: ***********While the movement runs strong it gains about 3 minutes by the end of its approximate 45 hour power reserve period. Given this and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is recommended. Additionally, this is a midsize watch, measuring approximately 32 mm excluding the crown, approximately 34.5 including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs.***********This seldom seen vintage 1950/60's Hamilton has a toned "SWISS" only signed dial that is in lovely but not perfect condition as it shows age-related wear. The lume, which no longer glows after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully to a butterscotch hue. The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with minor signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "HAMILTON | LIFETIME MAINSPRING | SHOCK-RESISTANT | WATER-PROOF | STAINLESS STEEL." The crystal shows light scratching. While I normally show pictures of the movements of watches I put up for sale the case back on this watch is torqued too tight for me to remove. The automatic movement runs strong, albeit a bit fast, gaining approximately 3 minutes by the end of its approximate 45 hour power reserve period. The signed crown winds smoothly. Given that the movement runs a fast and considering its unknown service history a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended. This midsize watch measures approximately 32 mm excluding the crown, approximately 34.5 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the mid-case, is approximately 6 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 8.5 mm. This watch comes on a used leather band. Given that the movement runs fast and considering its unknown service history a complete overhaul is recommended. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility. Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given. And please study the 15 high magnification pictures carefully, which were taken in natural light and from various angles, as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.Expedited and insured shipping along with signature confirmation will be provided. Thanks for looking!***********While the movement runs strong it gains about 3 minutes by the end of its approximate 45 hour power reserve period.
