Description: Up for sale is this beautiful, vintage tree topper with wire decorations and a tinsel flourish at the top. There are three round elements at the bottom and an upside down tear drop shape at the top. The tear drop shape has a cluster of silver tinsel coming out of the top. The round elements have a shimmering, gold, lace decoration around the middle. There is thin wire wrapped around the ornament that reflects the light in an interesting way. It is made out of blown glass with a silver, mercury glass finish. There is a sticker on the bottom that reads, “Made in Western Germany.” It’s in a cardboard box with a plastic window on the front. This beautiful piece would look amazing on a tree and would make a wonderful family heirloom. This piece is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or broken pieces. The wire strands are black with tarnish and there are a few broken pieces. The tinsel is also a bit tarnished. There are a few scuffs on the surface of the piece. The box has a lot discoloration and spotting on the surface but no water damage. It has a slight, attic smell. The ornament measures approximately 16 inches tall and 2 ¾ inches wide.
