Vintage glass oil / kerosene lamp -Brass Burner Plume & Atwood

Description: Welcome to House of Whispering Firs Vintage Oil Lamp This lovely pressed glass lamp would be a prefect addition to your collection. It's in decent condition for its age, but does have some chipping on the upper rings of the base. The bottom edge is in great condition. The pressed glass diamond design is unique in that the pressing is on the inside of the swell. The upper oil bulb appears yellow in the photos because of oil residue. The base is 5 1/4" in diameter and 8 1/2" high. The brass burner regulator screw is marked - "P & A Co. Pat 1 16 88 & 8 1 97". The burner is securely oil adhered to the heavy glass base and I was afraid to try to apply much pressure to unscrew, so I don't know about the threading. Questions?
