Description: Vintage Gibson GA-5 amplifier in Excellent Condition! Amplifier works as it should and sounds amazing. Amp has been professionally re- capped and a 3-prong power cord added. Tubes have been upgraded with TAD premium tubes 6V6GT-STR 5Y3GT 7025-WA The 12ax7 was swapped out with the 7025. They sound like a 12ax7 but a little more harmonically rich. If you'd prefer a 12ax7 just swap it out. The two tubes are interchangeable. Old Jensen speaker was upgraded to a WGS G8A alnico speaker. Made a big difference. A lot more clarity and volume. I’m willing to include the original Jensen speaker “free-of-charge” at the buyer’s request. If you have any other questions feel free to shoot me a message.
