The surface of the chalice has a planished finish in the Arts and Crafts style. The swept pedestal is encircled with an embossed undulating border in addition to an embossed cross pommee (otherwise known as cross pommy and croix pommÃ©e) to the foot. The circular drinking vessel retains the original gilt interior. Condition This vintage chalice is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of vintage silverware.
