We believe this came from a general store or Mercantile. This is made from cast-iron and Wood, both of which are original. However, it was missing the rod to hold the paper towel so we added a dowel temporarily that will be included in the listing. All pieces are here, but this could use some tightening up, or perhaps new screws to hold the wood to the base which keeps it in alignment.
