It measures 4 ¼” tall 4” in diameter at the lip 3 ½” in diameter at the base 4 ¾” in diameter at the widest part weighs 1 lb 6 oz (5592) John Frank founded Frankhoma Pottery in 1934 in Oklahoma with the idea of providing good pottery for the average person in the depths of the Great Depression. He was inspired by the colors and textures of Oklahoma and the Southwestern United States and wanted to give people a quality experience with their tableware and pottery needs. He combined his last name with the name of the State Oklahoma to get the name Frankhoma and by the 1950’s the pottery became very popular. Even though Frankhoma Pottery is no longer in the family, people love to collect items. There is a Frankhoma Family Collector’s Association.
