To me, it is in excellent vintage condition, meaning gently worn and well taken care of - wear consistent with age. For weight and metal purity I rely on the results of my Fusion scale and the common Puri Test Acid tests. The main front portion of the pin is marked and tests positive for 10K. I did not test the other parts as a majority of the time they are not gold. The red stones are sparkling. They have a spinal/ruby look to them but I am in the midst of moving and can’t make a trip to my jewelers for identification right now, so I am calling them red, unidentifiable glass gems or stones right now. This would be a nice addition to anyone’s collection.
