Description: This is a signed Florenza Maltese Cross pendant, gem-set with a faceted smokey topaz crystal and 4 black, faceted marquis crystals that are bezel-set on a gilt metal that is absolutely gorgeous. The metal is embellished, textured and has cut-outs, it's really stunning. It's a very large, substantial piece, just lovely! The textured back is signed 'FLORENZA' with the copyright symbol, this is a pendant, as there is a hook for the pendant to be able to slide onto your favorite chain, also something to note, I've seen other versions of this piece, some are brooches/pins or pendant, this one is a pendant only, I see metal that indicates that the designer could have added the pin/brooch component but did not. It is not broken, it is merely a part of this pendant, please note that, it is not a flaw. Perhaps the original owner took it to a jeweler to have it altered, I'm not sure but it is smooth to the touch but it is just the pendant. :o) This lovely piece of history measures 2-1/4" by 2-1/4", the hook measures just under 1/2" and is very, very sturdy. I do not have the original chain but you can add it to your own favorite chain!
