Vintage EXCELLENT 1940s Stetson Beaver Twenty Brown Sz 7-1/8+++ 7-1/4

Description: Excellent Near Pristine! Vintage 1949-1952 Stetson Beaver Twenty, Brown, size 7-1/8+++ to 7-1/4. This is a fraction under a perfect 7-1/4. The only thing was see is the liner has started to get that yellowish patina. It is perfectly shaped! It’s a real looker! Dad and grandson needed to do very little work on this one, just a bit of cleaning and minor steaming to get the shape back to the original style.This Beaver Twenty is easily “Hand-Bashed”! That fedora shape we did in 2-3 seconds! It just so very soft and thick that it’s easily “Hand-Bashed”! Currently it is shaped as a Center Dent and pinched crown but if you wanted a shape steamed into a center dent only before we ship you MUST write to us!As you can see the leather sweatband is still in excellent condition, there is no wear to the top edge (hat reed) and the sewn joint is perfect! You can see that this is a very late 1949-1951 Stetson because there is a very very thin plastic overlay on the liner and the liner design and color. The liner cover is not the thicker heavier ones used post 1951.This is what Stetson call a Chocolate Brown color and the picture looking at the whole underside is the best representation of the color. Not sure why we can’t get the color to always come out consistently? Anybody out there has any suggestions?NOTE: that late 1940s Stetson oval box is currently not included in this sale. Dad wanted it for the picture, this is out of dad’s personal collection.The square Stetson is a good condition with minor paper wear and there is a bit of a wrinkle on the bottom, it was sitting under a bunch of other hat boxes, the issue is the hat barely fits inside.
