Description: Jeantet of France has been crafting briar pipes since 1858. This is a classic Billiard with high contrast straight grain! About 6” long, bowl is 2” tall, 1 1/4” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 3/4”. Marked on one side of shank CRYSTAL/ JEANTET, other side of shank 5093. A white metal J medallion inlaid on side of bit. No other marks detected. Bit is well-seated push fit, no filter, cleaned and polished, showing a few dings on the button. Stummel is rich milk chocolate colored, straight grain, some handling wear, dings and scratches, clean inwardly curved rim, lightly caked bowl. Classic style and in nice condition!
