Description: this is a used preowned esser co. brass plumb bob.the end cap screws on and off and the steel tip is removable,it also screws on and off.i weighed this plumb bob on my digital postal scale and it weighed 1 pound 2.3 ounces.anyway there is wear galore on this plumb bob.there are plenty of scuffs,scratches,nicks and dings throughout all sides of the plumb bob.when you unscrew the steel tip someone put some blue substance on the threads,possibly thread lock but it unscrews fairly easy.i do not see any other numbers on the plumb bob,model number,etc.the tip seems to have taken some damage at one time or another,it is not exactly sharp anymore.by any means.as stated before this is a preowned used plumb bob with wear.thank you for looking at this listing.
