Description: Vintage Gilded Courting Couple Chinoiserie Teapot Attention collectors! (And those who love to gift them!) Unique and complex variation on the Courting Couple or Love Story ceramic artwork of the 1950's to 60's - this elaborately detailed teapot also has stunning gilded Chinoiserie design elements. The details include marvelous stylized butterflies, leaves, and a coral color design underlaying the bronzed gold. It has transitional elements combining both English and Asian design. The gold is high polish and has an interesting dark sheen to it. Even the bottom is fully gilded. It is in very good to excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There is an area on the lid where the printed design comes together where it matches incompletely but it appears to be original to manufacture - I've included 2 photos of both the design, and the overlap, so you can see if the issue is a concern to you. Packages are insured for their sold price, excluding shipping costs, and all refunds due to breakage will be divided by the number of items in the package (i.e. no full refunds for one item broken out of a set.)
