Description: Beautiful pair of signed "France" Limoges enameled portrait earrings with large, elaborate, 14K yellow gold frames and very long 14K yellow gold shepherd style, locking, ear wires. The iridescent, shimmering enamels of the lady's clothing and head scarves are showcased against a deep, navy blue enameled background. The 14K frames around the enamels are very ornate with a lace like design, very intricate, very beautiful. The earrings are not marked for the gold content but have been tested to 14K solid gold. The earrings are large and impressive. They each measure 1 5/8 inch long wire top to bottom of earring frame, and they measure one inch a cross. The enamels alone measure over 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. Questions are always welcome.
