She was so dirty, a pin stick in each breast, a nose nick, extra pin stick in one ear and missing 4 fingers on one hand, then I cracked her shoulder when I gave her a new arm. Yes she was ready for the garbage. But I didn’t have the heart. She was still wearing her original swim suit had a stand and perfect black shoes. So l gave her a good scrubbing from head to toe. Washed her hair (love the early dolls tight bubbles), touched up her lips and nose dots and eyelash edges. Mani Pedi of course. All paint sealed. She still has spots on her legs and a faint spot on one cheek. Oh the stories she could tell ! She will never be perfect, but she is in a class of her own. She is the first issue Bubblecut on a Barbie only body. Not for the mint collector for sure! But if you have a spot on your vintage shelf for a first issue Bubblecut, she just might fill the bill!
