Vintage early 1990s Pleasant Company 18" American Girl Doll Samantha Parkington

Description: This vintage early 1990s American Girl Samantha Parkington Doll is a wonderful addition to any doll collection. She is in beautiful condition for her age and has lots of play time left in her. Her neck is stamped Pleasant Company and her neck strings are intact. She has a softer vinyl body than the contemporary dolls, and her cloth body is a bit bigger than the contemporary dolls. Her soft vinyl, chunky body shape, wide face shape, soft eyelashes, specific neck stamp, and lack of a body tag indicate that she is an early 1990s doll, likely around 1993. Very sweet face and lovely eyes. Her body, head, and limbs are in very good used condition. Her limbs and body are overall very clean. She has three small marks: 1. A black speck on her thigh2. A pink smudge on the bottom of her cloth body3. A small snag in her cloth body near her shoulder. 4. A small (pen?) mark on the front of her left hand Her limbs are tight and she stands well. Her eyes open and close smoothly. Her hair was damaged and has been replaced with a similar wig, which is brand new. It has fewer layers than her original hair but a similar wave. She comes with Samantha's Meet Dress, which is in very good gently used condition, with some fraying to the front ribbon. The tag has been ripped out but looks like it was a paper tag, likely a late 80s dress. She is wearing American Girl tagged cream tights, which have some snags. See photos. She also comes with a high quality white satin ribbon (not AG) and off-brand patent mary janes. Smoke-free and pet-free home. I ship Monday through Thursday.
