Description: This all original vintage desk lamp was manufactured sometime in the late1940s. Its US Patent No. is 2446230 which was filed by Paul H. Irmiseher in Chicago on July 24th, 1946.I have included two of the submitted patent drawings in the photos. The lamp is constructed of pressed steel with a brown wood grain finish. The finish is in very nice condition. it has an extra long translucent butterscotch electrical cord which is also in very nice condition. Its gooseneck stem makes it somewhat adjustable but it stands around 10 inches tall. Its tubular shade measure 9 inches long by 3 inches wide and it rests upon a 8 inch by 5 inch by 2 inch base. Distinctive period look !
