Description: This is a lovely Crown Trifari stylized floral brooch with clear crystal teardrop and baguette rhinestones set in a rhodium-plated setting. It is simple, elegant, and stunning. I was able to identify this piece from Julia Carroll's "Costume Jewelry 202" page 191. It is part of a series designed by Alfred Philippe called "Gems of India". The back of this piece is marked Trifari (with crown) and PAT PEND underneath. All pieces from this series are marked the same and were patented on October 2, 1951.
