Description: Up for sale is a vintage Concerntone trumpet. This is a "tight wrap, peashooter " type trumpet. My re search tells me it was originally sold in the Montgomery Ward stores and is over sixt years old. It is in the key of B flat but can be converted to the key of A by removing a section of the tuning slide. These peashooter horns were in demand by jazz musicians in the thirties and forties. This horn is in exceptional condition considering it's age. It has a few minor dings but no dents and it's lacquer finish is almost 100%. It's a small bore. The valves are bottom sprung, fast and responsive and all the slides move freely. Included is a vintage mouthpiece. It appears to be a 3c. Also included is an old Getzen hard case that still works fine and even has the keys! I have given it a warm soap and water bath and lubed the slides and valves. Also installed new water key corks. The valve felts look pretty good and the valves align. This horn will arrive clean and ready to play out of the box with no issues. I have done my best to describe this horn to the best of my ability and am selling it as is. It has a nice warm sound with the included mouthpiece. I accept PayPal only and do not ship outside the lower 48 states note: had to list it as un branded because ebay has no listing for Concerntone. I'm thinking this horn might be pretty rare. Can't find one in this shape on Google.
