Description: This is a great looking holster maker marked “S. B. DYER MAKER TULIA, TEX” on the back in an oval. I did not find any other holster listed for this maker. This maker is listed in the Texas Gazetteer between the years of 1914 - 1915. The Colt Single Action 4 3/4” fits nicely and matches the bump outs on the holster. The slots in the top of the holster appear to be original. The leather is in good shape with a basket weave design. The stitching has come loose at the top with four or five stitches. The other stitching is firmly attached. In 1900 the town of Tulia had a population of approximately 1400 people.
