Vintage Coleman 228F Big Hat Double Mantle Lantern Green Early 1970's

Description: This is an above average Coleman dual mantle Lantern model 228F in good condition. There is the usual rust at the top that can be easily repainted it's a very minor surface rust on other parts here and there. You could take some aluminum foil and turtle wax metal Polish and remove any light rust on metal objects like this and then just coat it with a car wax if it's a Chrome or non painted surface. Otherwise in excellent condition for a Lantern that appears to be from 1970. We did not light it up but it should work, the mantles are new and all the knobs function. It comes with one Brand New Mantle still in the original bag.The glass is made by Pyrex for Coleman and are original. Made in the USA . Please note there is no funnel or any extras with this Lantern you only get what is shown in the photos.
