Eight (8) Tom Collins glassesin their original Gold wire caddy, accented witha Teak wood finial on handle. Made in USA. In 1956 the Continental Can Companyacquired the Hazel-Atlas Glass Companyand became the first company with a fullline of containers in metal, paper, and glass.Their interlocking triple C hallmark (CCC)is embossed on the bottom of each glass.Each glass holds 12 ounces. A treasured wedding gift of a retired couple,married back in 1958. If they didn't see theflaws in these glasses, I'm sure they missedthem in each other. Each glass weighs approximately 10.8 ounces.Total weight 6 pounds 2.8 ounces. Measurements:Glasses 2 and 3/4" in diameter (at top),2 and 3/8" in diameter (at bottom),5 and 5/8" in height.Metal caddy 6" in width, 8 and 1/2" in height,12 and 1/4" in length. EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION.Super clean. One out of eight (8) glasseshas a fleabite chip on the rim (too smallto photograph). The pattern of four outof eight are "out of register." Meaningthe Gold "sun discs" do not line up inthe center of flowers, and the frostedtransfer is slightly wrinkled (as seenin last 4 PICs).
