The piece turns as it is supposed to and changes colors. The base is in excellent functioning condition, BUT THE FIBERS ARE FALLING OUT AND NEED TO BE STABLIZED. As can be seen in the photos, most of the strands are still intact and I have saved the strands that have fallen out (incase you know how to add them back in). If I were going to keep this, I would attempt to stablize the strands by filling the baas of the Fiber optic splay with a superglue and let it dry . . . But this is just a theoretical way to fix it. The fiber optic strands have also browned over time. This is a MUST HAVE for your collection! BUY IT WHEN YOU SEE IT!
