Description: Check out all the detailed pictures of this vintage mirror!! The part # of 60827 is stamped on the underside as pictured. I believe this mirror was used by General Motors on a few different makes and models. This one obviously has the Buick logo on the ambient temperature dial, but I don’t think it differs much from the Cadillac version with the exception of the Cadillac script logo on the outer chrome cover. The measurement between the center of each mounting post/screw is 3 inches. Condition: Given its age, this part is in remarkably good condition. THE TEMPERATURE READOUT IS ACCURATE AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES. I put the mirror in my garage for a little and compared it to a secondary thermometer which had the same reading. THE INTERIOR TOGGLE SWITCH WORKS IN ALL DIRECTIONS! The mirror glass itself has no cracks, obvious scratches, or major blemishes. It does have any markings or wording on it, likely because it was not heated like some of the higher trim level models. The glass may need to be tightened but I think the small, round adjustment screw hidden in the center will tighten it. It has minor play in it that seemed to develop while I was handling it for pictures and packaging. I don’t know if anyone makes an aftermarket version of this mirror, so one in this clean condition is probably not easy to come by. The material around the thermometer doesn’t show the typical crazing or cracking they can develop over time. The chrome is not perfect but I would consider it to be in very good shape as you can see in the high resolution pictures. Check out my feedback and buy with confidence!
